Snowmobiling Area
Sun Peaks offers a diverse and well-rounded snowmobiling experience.
Riders can enjoy sub-alpine terrain similar to the Tranquille Plateau, featuring mature forest tree riding ideal for snow bikes, along with expansive meadow complexes perfect for boondocking and off-trail adventures. For families and casual riders, access trails and shorter looped routes are groomed regularly, providing safe and enjoyable options for all skill levels.
What makes Sun Peaks truly unique is its proximity to the ski village. The unloading area is located right next to the village, making “stay and ride” vacations seamless. Families can easily combine skiing, snowmobiling, dining, and village amenities all in one convenient location.
Access Information:
Staging is from the Sun Peaks Village Parking Lot P6. Please review the parking lot layout below, as space is limited and maneuvering large trailers can be tight.
Large trailer parking is available, and winter road maintenance to and from Sun Peaks Village is excellent, ensuring reliable access throughout the season.
The Cahilty Cabin
The KSA maintains one warm up shelter in the north west corner of the riding area.
