Snowmobiling Area
Sun Peaks offers a great blend of snowmobiling opportunities. Sub-alpine riding similar to the Tranquille plateau with great mature forest tree riding for Snow Bikes, and meadow complexes for boondocking and off trail riding. Access trails and smaller distance family friendly trail loops are groomed regularly. Sun Peaks offers a unique experience with the ski village being immediate to the unloading area meaning “stay and ride” vacations are common blending skiing, snowmobiling and village amenities together for families.
Access is from village of Sun Peaks Parking Lot P6, Please look below for parking lot layout as it is tight.
large trailer parking is available and winter road maintenance to and from the village of Sun Peaks is great.
The Cahilty Cabin
the KSA maintains one warm up shelter in the north west corner of the riding area.
